Back to School Drive August 2-18, 2010
Catholic Charities is holding its annual “Annual Back to School Drive” on August 2nd through August 18th. The usual items are needed such as: backpacks, 3-ring binders, loose-leaf paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, pencil boxes, rulers, markers, dictionaries etc. Gift certificates to a discount department store or shoe store are also welcomed. Donations can be dropped off at the Burlington County Catholic Charities, 801 Burlington Ave., Delanco, NJ, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Emergency and Community Services [Located in Delanco.]
A community resource center offering emergency shelter, transitional housing, food, clothing, and holiday assistance to those in need.
Children and Family Services [Located in Burlington City]
Maternity and Adoption services, including research and reunion programs, foster child adoptions, and crisis pregnancy counseling.
Behavioral Health Services [Located in Burlington City, Westampton and Riverbank]
Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Services offers a range of services for those with addictions or mental health issues. Delaware House in Westampton and Riverbank Self-Help Center in Burlington City are two major BHS facilities located in Burlington County.
Providence House Domestic Violence Services [Located in Delran]
Providence House offers a free counseling center in Delran, a 24-hour hot line, crisis counseling, and confidentially located emergency safe house for those affected by domestic violence.
