Cheerleading

   The OLGC Charger Girl Cheerleading squad is an elite group of 6th-8th grade girls. We represent our school at such events as home basketball games, local parades, competitions, and the pep rally. The season runs from November to March and practices on Wednesdays and FridaysAfter school. We perform enthusiastic cheers, awesome stunts, and energetic dance moves while exhibiting confidence and team spirit.

     Although the 2007-2008 season has ended we have numerous accomplishments this year. Our squad has won the coveted “Spirit Award” at competition, our 8th grade cheerleaders earned 1st place in a “Miss Yell”, and two 8th and 6th grade girls won 1st and 2nd place respectively in a “Tumble-Off”.
