Overview

The Religious Education Ministry is dedicated to the mission of nurturing and awakening faith by:

*Providing a strong, vibrant curriculum of instruction, liturgical experiences and active discipleship.

*Preparing students for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

*Offering through the Rite of Christian Initiation, a process whereby children are welcomed into the Church, the Family of God.

*Developing adult faith formation by networking with the Pastoral Life Ministry and certifying catechists through diocesan programs and year-long education opportunities.

*Responding to the cry of the poor through outreach programs which include: collecting money for Holy Childhood Association; toys, food, and clothes, for Catholic Charities; and co-existence with Missionaries of the Poor, Jamaica, and Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, Jamaica.
