Girls Basketball Program

Basketball Try-outs

Boys and Girls in grades 5-8 are invited to the Basketball Try-outs
scheduled for the following dates and times:

Varsity Girls – Thursday and Friday, October 29th and 30th, from 6:00-7:15 PM

Varsity Boys - Thursday and Friday, October 29th and 30th, from 7:30-8:45 PM

(Varsity is grades 7-8; players are encouraged to attend both nights, but only need to attend one session.)

Jr. Varsity Girls – Monday, November 2nd, from 6:00-7:15 PM

Jr. Varsity Boys – Monday, November 2nd, from 7:30-8:45 PM

(Jr. Varsity is grades 5-6; if you cannot attend on November 2nd, indicate on the on-line registration message that you will be attending the Varsity session on Friday, October 30th.  Players are encouraged to attend with their grade level, however.)

Interested players should register online no later than October 27th by sending an e-mail with the following information:

• Player’s Name
• Parent/Guardian Name(s) and preferred phone number
• Player’s grade in school, birth date, and indicate OLGC School or RE Program
• Player’s Height
• Parents should indicate their interest level as a Adult Volunteer

Note 1: All players must have an Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Form on file BEFORE the tryout.  If this is not already on file with the OLGC school nurse, the form must be brought by a parent/guardian to the tryout.  Per Diocese of Trenton regulations, no child may participate in the try-out without this form.  Physicals must be dated less than 366 days before the try-out date. Note 2: All players must bring a COPY of their birth certificate to the Try-out. (Originals will not be returned)
