Liturgical Experiences
Prayer Services Various prayer services through the year are planned. Your cooperation in promoting liturgical behavior will go far in developing the spirituality of our children.
Grade-level celebrations Grade-level celebrations include: “I’m Sorry Celebration” by Grade 1, First Penance and Eucharist experience of Grade 2, Literacy Outreach by Grade 3, May Crowning staffed by Grade 4, Casserole Baking Outreach of Grade 5, and Jesse Tree Prayer Service of Grade 6. Grade level coordinators are integral to the meaningful implementation of these events. Grade 5 and 7 will also participate in Parish Healing Mass.
Special seasonal liturgies Advent Sunday Together with the parish children’s choir, students dramatize “Why the Chimes Rang” and enact a living nativity scene in which parish children of all ages are invited to participate.
Christmas Tableaux A tableaux of children enhance the celebration of a family liturgy. All families are invited to participate, Christmas Morning, 10:30 A.M. Mass, Main Church.
Outreach Carol Night Families meet at Lutheran Care of Moorestown where we sing, distribute gifts, and share Christmas treats and hospitality with the residents.
Thanksgiving and Advent Prayer Services Children are asked to help alleviate the needs of local families through donations to Catholic Charities Emergency Services.
