Noah's Ark Childcare

Welcome all new and returning passengers aboard for our Journey of Faith!

Noah's Ark is a supervised Childcare and Church Readiness Program for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten children whose parents or guardians are attending the 10:30am Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.

The goals of Noah's Ark Childcare are to provide the children attending with an early Christian Education Program, to strengthen their foundation of Faith, and to introduce Church Readiness skills at an age-appropriate level.

The children are led in various activities throughout the session, and follow a set routine, which includes Prayer, Ritual, Bible Reading, Music, and Craft. Children in the "Upper Deck" participate in the weekly Gospel Readings, Prayer of the Faithful, Offertory, Lord's Prayer, and Sign of Peace. Children in the "Lower Deck" celebrate God's love through the story of Creation and Old Testament readings.

Noah's Ark is a Lectionary-based program. Children are provided with hands-on activities to reinforce the week's lesson, as well as home exercises to share together as a family.

Please check the Sunday Bulletin for exact starting and ending dates, and various closings throughout the year. Two "Decks" are available at Noah's Ark, so age-appropriate lessons are given to meet the developmental needs of the children.

  • The "Upper Deck" accepts passengers aged 4 years through Kindergarten.

There is no fee for using the services of Noah's Ark.
New "passengers" may register at any time during the year, and parents may use these services as often as they choose.
