Mission Club

The members of OLGC School's Mission Club, under the direction of Dr. Linda Dix, develop mission awareness and promote mission activities within the school and parish. These activities provide a concrete connection between students of Our Lady of Good Counsel School and children growing up in the developing world.  The Mission Club also works in conjunction with the Mission Childhood Association (MCA) in educating students about the lives of their brothers and sisters from different cultures and helps to raise awareness of the Mission Church.

The members also pray and sing in Haitian Creole. By learning about and participating in the mission activity of the Church,  the students make a difference in the lives of people throughout the world and walk in step with missionaries in the developing countries.  They live the message of the Gospel, and in their leadership,  call other students to live it as well.
