Congratulations to our 2012 teams for completing a great season!

The 8th grade boys completed a very successful basketball season. The team reached the championship game for their league. The team, coached by Steve Doto, Frank Ochman and Greg Sobocinski, ended the season with a record of 14–5.

The 8th Grade Girls Varsity Basketball Team ended their season with a record of 11-9. The Lady Chargers finished in 3rd place by winning the consolation games in both the Holy Cross Preseason Tournament and the Paul VI Holiday Tournament. Upsetting the first place team by a 19-point margin in the semifinal round of the BCCBL Playoffs, they advanced to the championship game and also earned a spot in the Diocesan Tournament. They are pictured with Coach Catherine Overbeck, Assistant Coach Jim Moran and their BCCBL 2nd place trophy.

The 7th grade Girls Basketball team finished the season with a 5-3 record and had a lot of fun! They were coached by Rick Millilo and assistant coach Dave Benson.

The 5th Grade Boys Basketball Team finished their regular season with a very impressive 10-2 record. In the playoffs, they advanced to the semi-finals where, after a well fought game, they endured a heart-breaking, one point loss! Under the guidance of their coaches, Bryan McGrath and Tom Morello, the boys learned alot about basketball but even more about what it means to be a team. The boys are already looking forward to next year.

The 6th grade JV Boys team won the Burlington County CYO JV Big Team Championship on March 4, 2012 at Holy Cross High School by defeating St. Mary of the Lakes 43-36. The team, coached by Jerry Lamina and assisted by Joe Procacci, is seen here with Principal Jerome T. McGowan.

The 5th Grade Girls Team won the JV Small Championship and finished in first place in the Division by defeating St. Mary's 21-10. It was a great season in which the girls always had a great attitude and worked hard. Most importantly, they were tremendous in how they supported each other on and off the court. Fr. Jim (left) and Miss Mary Sullivan (right), along with many students, parents, friends and families were there to cheer the team on. The team was coached by Denise Monahan and assistant coach Dave Benson (second row).
