Boarding of Passengers: Early Childhood Center: Lower Deck (ages 1-3) and Upper Deck (ages 3.5 – kindergarten)

Noah’s Ark is a supervised Childcare and Church Readiness Program for parish toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten-aged children.

Noah's Ark passengers display crafts they created during a recent sailing.

The goals of Noah’s Ark are to provide the children with an early christian education program, to strengthen their foundation of faith, and to introduce church readiness skills at an age-appropriate level.

The children are led in various activities throughout the session, and follow a set routine which includes prayer, ritual, scripture, music, and craft.

This ministry is staffed by well-trained volunteers who include high school students, confirmation candidates, parents of children attending, and adult parishioners.

Noah’s Ark is available weekly during the 10:30am Mass from October through April, and meets in the Early Childhood Center.  Two “Decks” are available, so age-appropriate lessons are given to meet the developmental needs of the children.   There is no fee for this program, and parishioners may have their children attend as often as is convenient for them.
