Spiritual Development
The primary role of the Spiritual Development Chairperson is to communicate prayer requests and provide prayers to the school community. Prayer requests are distributed in the monthly prayer chain and via e-mail. The Chairperson also arranges monthly prayer meetings, compiles the prayer service for each PTA meeting, organizes and manages the Religious Goods Fair as well as the Thanksgiving bread wrap. Uniform Exchange
Parents have the opportunity to purchase gently used shirts, jumpers, pants, skirts, vests and gym outfits in good condition at a fraction of their original cost. Vouchers cannot be used. Voucher program/PTA Participation Plan
The goals of the PTA Participation Plan is to develop a stronger sense of community and belonging among parents and to increase involvement and support of the PTA fund-raising projects. Each family that chooses to participate in this plan pledges to support the PTA at a minimum of $100.00 per year. Upon receipt, you will receive $125.00 back in voucher money to be used towards various school events and fundraisers throughout the year. Ways and Means
Ways and Means looks for creative ways to fundraise for the school and then works out the logistics to run the fundraiser. Some of this year’s fundraisers will be Yankee Candle Sale, “A Christmas to Remember” with Jerry Blavat, Poinsettia Sale, Barnes and Noble Sale and a family night at a sports facility. We are always open to new suggestions from other school family members. Website Coordinator
The website coordinator is responsible for maintaining PTA pages of the OLGC website. Specific duties include updating the new board member list with contact information, providing names and dates of all PTA events, and updating PTA information throughout the year.
