PTA Mission Statement
The three words that best describe Good Counsel’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) are commitment, collaboration, and creativity. Parents and teachers join Good Counsel’s PTA to foster a mutual understanding and appreciation of the ideals of Catholic Education. This is an opportunity where parents can actively participate to advance their children’s education and enhance their social, religious, intellectual and physical development.
Prayer services, raffles, walkathons, fashion shows – Good Counsel’s PTA offers “something for everyone” and always builds in family participation and fun! A major goal of the PTA is to provide financial support to Good Counsel School.
The PTA has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for many school improvements, new books and other items for our children.
There’s always “something to do for everyone” because there are so many opportunities to get involved and make a positive contribution. Parent involvement makes a key difference and shows children the value in working together toward common goals. Getting involved is easy!
