Our Lady of Good Counsel School offers a Drama Club for students in grades 5-8. The Drama Club enables students to either perform on-stage in the production’s Cast, where they can act, sing, and dance, or to work off-stage and back-stage on the Stage Crew, where they can help create, build, paint, and move sets. Some Stage Crew members also are trained to run spotlights for the production.

The directing team is led by staff members of the Moorestown Theater Company: Parishioner Mark Morgan (Director), Carol Ann Murray (Music Director and Costumer), Parishioner Kaitlin Tumulty (Choreographer), and Beverly Bennett (Accompanist and Rehearsal Pianist). Under the additional watchful eyes of OLGC Activities Director, Mary Sullivan (Producer), the students are encouraged to perform to the best of their ability.
The musicals, which are familiar to all of us, are scaled down to an age-appropriate level. The children are exposed to live theater in a learning environment. Since the Morgan-Murray-Bennett directing team took over in 2004, the Drama Club has produced the following musicals:
