| Hand Bell Choir
The Hand Bell Choir is open to students in the 7th and 8th grade. The choirs provide musical accompaniment for the school liturgies and prayer services throughout the school year. Rehearsals incorporate ringing technique and musical literacy. The Hand Bell Choir meets once a week during lunch recess. The Choir performs at school liturgies, prayer services and special events throughout the school year. Rehearsals incorporate vocal technique, musical literacy and harmonization. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday mornings before school from 7:45am to 8:20am. The cantors rehearse on Tuesdays during lunch recess. The following instruments are offered: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, orchestral bells and percussion. Band rehearsals are held on Monday mornings before school from 8:00am to 8:30am. Group instrumental lessons are on Mondays throughout the school day. The Band performs two concerts during the school year as well as on other special occasions. The band program is run by Northeastern Music Programs and is taught by Mrs. Diane Soper.
