Father Jim will be leading a one-day seminar on the Vatican II decree on the laity, Apostolicam Actuositatem.  This important document garnered the highest approval by the Vatican II Bishops of any of the Constitutions or Decrees, and provide guidance even today, sixty years later, on the role of the laity in our society and church.

The seminar will be hosted at Francis House of Prayer, 85 Walnford Road, Allentown, NJ. This is about a 50-minutes drive from OLGC.

For those who register, we ask that you read the Study Guide on the decree created by Father Jim. It is available for download here, or you can request a printed copy from the Parish Office.

The day will begin with examination of the document, in prayer and in small groups, and will conclude at 3PM with celebration of the Mass for that weekend, the Solemnity of All Saints, so you will be on your way home by 4 PM.
