The Sacrament of Confirmation strengthens and deepens the grace received at Baptism, sealing candidates with the gift of the Holy Spirit. Preparation typically takes place through our Parish School or our Religious Education Program, where students grow in faith, service, and understanding of their call to discipleship. The preparation programs for Confirmation will ordinarily span a two year period, typically through 7th and 8th grades.

Parents and sponsors play an important role in supporting candidates through prayer, attendance at required sessions, service opportunities, and retreat experiences.

Students enrolled in our Parish School receive all elements of the preparation as part of our ongoing Religion curriculum. For program requirements, registration information, and sacrament dates, please contact our Parish Religious Education Office.

Adults who have not been confirmed may inquire about the process to be received in the Catholic Church through OCIA, Order of Christian Initiation of Adults.
