Congratulations on your engagement!

Arrangements for the Sacrament of Marriage are to be made at least one year in advance, per Diocesan guidelines. To begin the process, please call the parish office to schedule an appointment.

Over the course of this formation period for the Sacrament of Marriage, we will explore the unique ways in which couples pray together; the theology which serves as the foundation for the Sacrament; and the ways in which your faith journey has brought you to this stage of life. Anticipate 4-5 meetings with the priest or deacon who will assist you in this formation.

Please note: At least one member of the couple must be a registered member of our parish. We look forward to helping you prepare for your wedding, your lifelong commitment, and your shared journey in faith.

As you approach the day of your wedding, the priest or deacon preparing you will invite you to choose readings, and to select family or friends who may assist you by proclaiming the readings, or leading the Universal Prayer/Petitions.  To assist with your planning, please reference the attached sample readings to make your choices.
